Oval Office

This is the Oval Office or the Executive Office of the President. No one is allowed here without the president being here, or without an appointment unless it is extremely urgent and you have authorization to enter.

*I walk to my office, for my morning daily meetings starting with my lead protective agent (Lidner)*

* I, speedwalking, as I am running a few minutes behind schedule, verify my ID with a guard, and am given admission into the oval office. I gently shut the door behind me. *

'Sorry for being late Mr. President.'

'No problem, Don. So what's new, anything I need to know this morning?'

'Airforce 1 is ready for you and Local Police, and FPA Protective Division, motorcade vehicles are also ready for you. The concern for your safety is average. Anything further sir?'

*I stand at attention, awaiting your response.*

'Sounds good, let me go through my normal morning briefings and I will be ready in 1 hour'

*Skip an hour*

*I hit the intercom button on my phone*

'Yes Mr. President'
'Tell SSA Lidner I am ready to go'
'Yes Mr. President'

*I recieve a page from the President's secretary*

(assuming you're ready to go to AF1)

*I go to the armory, and grab my sidearm, a .45 cal. pistol, and holster it in a holster, which is hidden from my suit jacket. I put my jacket back on and begin heading towards the oval office.*

'Mr. President' I say as I enter your office.

'Don, I am ready, lets get going'

'The motorcade awaits you sir.'

*I walk back to the door and open it for you to pass threw*

'Got it, lets go'

*I get up out of my chair and walk with Don, and the rest of the team to my limo*

*I return to my office and continue my day like normal*

**I knock on door and wait for admission**

'come in'

'Hello Mr. President, thank you for the meeting at such short notice. I hope you recognize the urgency and sensitivity of the subject. How was your trip to Florida, by the way?'

'Not a problem, Carson, and the trip to Florida was a breeze. It was simple, should've been a phone call but I wasted my time going. Anyways whats so urgent?'

Global Terrorism is the problem Mr. President, and as problems go it's a big one. Due to the proximity to the 11th anniversary of 9/11 I think now is a prudent time to discuss this matter.

'Alright, what do you suggest?'

'I would recommend putting out a message to the American people telling them that these villains will not stand, deliver a message to all nations that harbor terrorists that we will consider any nation harboring terrorists as actually engaging in terrorism themselves. We should also hunt down and kill all main terrorist leaders and deliver crippling economic sanctions to any nations supporting terrorism.'

'sounds good, I will have my press secretary set up a press conference. In the meantime, inform your people and step up security'

'Yes sir. We have picked up increased chatter about the potential for a terrorist attack, so I believe it is very prudent to step up security and inform the public about the risk.'

**I urgently knock on the door and struggle to catch my breath**

'Come in'

'Carson, I think the threat should stay between us and the federal government, I think we shouldn't tell the public since we don't want chaos, we don't want people panicking'

'We need heightened caution Mr. President.'

'Good to see you Michael, I needed to see you about this topic as well. We need to work out a tone to take with countries supporting terrorists.'

'Hello Mr. President, Hello Carson'

'Yes, Carson we need to discuss that. I know you want to take a gung-ho, guns and sanctions approach, however we need to be careful not to act like we are looking to cause another War. After all, we know how the last two went. No offense, Carson.'
